Logline: With their privacy in peril, two enemies engage in a fight to reclaim their lost item.

Transparent is a short contemplative film about two enemies, Toka and Thirza, who engage in a fight to regain their lost privacy. The film comments on the invasion of privacy by advanced technologies. Transparent demonstrates how two sides, despite having the same goals, continue to blame each other, unable to see the bigger issue, “The People.” “The People” are the ones who invade our privacy, reflecting the controlling actions of a few in power, under the guise of benefit for all. Solely focused on their personal gain and satisfaction, the characters slowly lose touch with their surroundings.

CHARACTER SKETCH

Toka overthinks situations, taking a long time to react. Toka worries about the smallest details and struggles to work under pressure. In contrast to Toka's analytical approach, Thirza jumps to conclusions and takes action immediately. Thirza quickly digests information and makes a move based off of instinct. The two seem like polar opposites, but share more similarities than one would think.
